USS Manchester Docked at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Original caption: Arriving at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii is the light cruiser USS Manchester which had been operating in Korean war zone waters since September 13, 1950, with a carrier task force in the 7th fleet. Under the command of Captain Lewis S. Parks, the ship had relentlessly shelled the North Korean transportation facilities and provided close support for the United Nation Ground Forces. She would depart from Pearl Harbor from Long Beach, California.
