USS Manchester's cannons are blackened after the bombardment of Wonsan, Korea.

The USS Manchester risks rearming in Wonsan Harbor, Korea within range of enemy forts. USS Paricutin, an ammunition ship, is alongside the Manchester to rearm.

The destroyer, USS Bass, was hit by Wonsan shore batteries in Wonsan Harbor, Korea. There were ten causalities. Those that were seriously injured were transferred to USS Manchester for treatment.
