Dan Cavanaugh Recalls His Korean War Service

Korean War veteran Dan Cavanaugh records his memories of his Army service in the Korean War. He concludes the recording with some examples of Korean music. This recording was made in response to an inquiry by historian Charles Spurlin of Victoria College in Victoria, TX. This is the fifth of five tapes that Cavanaugh sent to Spurlin. Spurlin, in turn, donated his materials to the Center for the Study of the Korean War.

Korean War veteran Dan Cavanaugh records his memories of his Army service in the Korean War by reviewing his photographs. This recording is two tapes long, and covers photographs numbered 43-107 on tape 1, and photographs numbered 107-115 on tape 2. It concludes with a narrative of his Army service. This recording was made in response to an inquiry by historian Charles Spurlin of Victoria College in Victoria, TX. This is the third and fourth of five tapes that Cavanaugh sent to Spurlin. Spurlin, in turn, donated his materials to the Center for the Study of the Korean War.
