Also noted is the Hindenburg Line, transportation routes, fortifications, ruins, churches, the location of an American cemetery near Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, and an American memorial near Montfaucon. There is a pencil annotation near Fort de Tavannes, west of Eix and northeast of Verdun.
