Map of German Positions and Supply

A French map titled "Vauquois (Verdun 5)." The map, numbered 215 in a series, shows trench systems and battery activity. The map is annotated to show intelligence, as of June 5, 1918, regarding German first positions for the possible use of Allied artillery. Handwriting on the back reads: "Map of Vaquois Hill in Argonne. Shows all arty, M.G., and ammunition emplacements of Bache."

Map of Trench Systems and Positions

A French map titled "Secteur Nord: Secteur de Chatillon." The map is overprinted to show trench systems in an area of northeast France near Chatillon-sous-les-Cotes, Blanzee, Watronville, Ronvaux, and Moulainville. Annotations, in black ink, indicate troop movement and positions near Ouvrage de Manesel, Bois la Ville, Ouvrage de Beauregard, and Ancien Camp Romain.

Map of the Allied Advance in the Argonne Sector

A French map titled "Verdun." The map, numbered 35 in a series, is annotated to show the Allied advance in the Argonne sector between September 26, 1918 and October 20, 1918. The map also shows original and corps objectives, division boundaries, and daily objectives. Additional annotations, in black ink, mark the positions and movement of the 137th, 138th, 139th, and 140th Infantry. Handwriting on the back reads: "1st Lt Rolla B Holt, Co. 'I' 140 Inf, AEF" and "Bellrupt." Donated by Rolla B. Holt.

Map of the Area Around Gerardmer

A French map, titled "Gerardmer," that shows a portion of eastern France and western Germany. The map is overprinted with red markings that extend from Retournemer through Charlemagne and Kastel Berg to Rheinkopf. Another line reaches from Holzplatz through Steinleberg. Other places highlighted include Xanrupt, Longemer, Balveurche, le Collet, and Schmargull.
