Map of the Front Lines on September 12 and September 18, 1918

A French map titled "Carte-Campbell, No. 7 Bis, Front 'Champagne Lorraine.'" The map, numbered 7 in a series, shows the location of the front lines as of September 12 and September 18, 1918. Annotations, in blue and red ink, indicate allied movement in northeast France. The positions of the 28th, 35th, 77th, and 92nd Divisions are also noted. A pencil note on the back reads: "This map for Argonne Location."

Map of the Western Battle Front

An American map titled "Kenyon's Map of the Western Battle Front." The map shows the location of major battles and the movement of battle lines. Annotations, in blue and red pencil, indicate allied movement in the Meuse and Vosges regions of France, as well as several other areas. A note at the bottom right reads "Hadol" and is accompanied with a pencil line to that town. Smaller inset maps show the eastern battle front and the Italian battle front.

This map is located on the back of M1302. The map cover is attached.
