Army Engineers to Build "Christmas Island" as a Float on Capitol Lake in Olympia, Washington

The display, which was to float on Capitol Lake contained 2,500 colored lights and more than 400 Christmas trees. A 16-foot Star of Bethlehem was to top the 30-foot center tree with a life like nativity scene in the foreground.
