Head-and-shoulders portrait of Tom L. Evans, businessman, civic leader, and friend of former President Harry S. Truman. The photo was taken at his desk in his office during an interview by noted writer Merle Miller for the Truman television adaptation of Miller's book, "Plain Speaking," which appeared on the Public Broadcasting System in 1976.
