President Harry S. Truman greets President Romulo Gallegos of Venezuela

President Harry S. Truman, behind the podium, addresses a crowd on hand to greet President Romulo Gallegos (at President Truman's right) of Venezuela, upon his arrival at Washington National Airport aboard the Independence. The Venezuelan Chief Executive will accompany President Truman Sunday morning to Bolivar, Missouri, where a statue of Simon Bolivar, the father of his country, will be unveiled.
