Secretary of the Interior Julius A. Krug testifying before a House committee considering the use of big and little inch pipe lines as pipelines for gas. He told the group that 50,000,000 cubic feet of gas would provide fuel power comparable to 2,000 tons of coal. Krug said he had considered using the lines for gas during the coal strike.
