The card reads: All good wishes for Christmas and the New Year. On the back is the name of the sender, Frank O'Donnell. The photograph is similar to photos 58-728-1 through 4, and 78-677, 78-678. Former President Harry S. Truman (left) with Eddie Jacobson (right) on the southeast corner of Linwood Boulevard and Flora Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. The building on the left is part of the west wall of B'nai Jehudah Temple. This photo was taken outside the temple after religious school students presented former President Truman with a certificate for trees planted in his honor in Israel. Mr. Jacobson was then a trustee of Congregation B'nai Jehudah. Mr. Truman has autographed the photo. The young lady on the left is Irene Stiefel, later Irene Stiefel Starr. From: Frank Adler.

Edward (Eddie) Jacobson, ex-partner of Harry S. Truman in the haberdashery business, now runs the Westport Men's Wear Company at 39th and Main in Kansas City, Missouri. He has two daughters. One is married to a Major in the Medical Corps in ETO, the other daughter played the piano with Mr. Truman when he used to visit them.
