Elizabeth is Queen

Associated British-Pathe Ltd newsreel entitled Elizabeth is Queen. This print does not have sound, but the newsreel was originally released with a sound track. It shows footage from the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain at Westminster Abbey. Includes footage of the procession to the Abbey in the George III State Coach, the coronation, crowds outside Buckingham Palace, and the Royal Family’s appearance on the balcony of the palace after the ceremony. Coronation was June 2, 1953; this newsreel was released June 28, 1953.
