This press conference took place during President Truman's ninth vacation visit to Key West. Standing directly behind Truman in the bamboo print shirt is Charles S. Murphy, Administrative Assistant to President Truman and later Special Counsel to the President. To the left of Murphy wearing a long sleeve print shirt is John Steelman, Truman's Assistant to the President. To the right of Murphy is Joseph Feeney.
