Truman Library News: Landscape Project
For the first time since our opening in 1957, the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum is completely reimagining all exterior landscaping. The museum remains open during the project, though visitors will see evidence of the work as they approach the museum. Please proceed around the museum to park on the East side of the building. The courtyard, which serves as the resting place for President Truman, First Lady Bess Truman, their daughter, Margaret Truman Daniel, and her husband, Clifton Daniel, is temporarily closed. During this process, we are taking all precautions to protect this sacred area, and the gravesites will not be disturbed. For more information about the landscape transformation, click here.
