THE PRESIDENT

Told A.G. that he received request from Sen. Cordon for information from FBI in re Hawaii statehood. Asked A.G. to get together with Cordon. Asked for unanimous support of Cabinet for reciprocal trade agreements - in testimony before Congress. It is vital to our foreign policy.

STATE

We have to be consistent in our foreign policy. We can't vacillate back and forth. If we are not to be so we may as well get out of ERP.

FORRESTAL

Asked what form Lend-Lease for Western Europe would take.

THE PRESIDENT

It is premature - no form has been worked out.

MARSHALL

Said that press in last few days with respect to arms for Western Europe was lifted from his answer to a question as to whether the program was being considered. Marshall stated that all these things are being considered.
