Asked for extensions of time on trade agreement with Austria. Wants to study further.

This is my last meeting. Am happy with the position being taken by the U. S. as described by Marshall.
Attacked Sir John Boyd-Orr, British member of Int. Food organization.....made in London yesterday. Described him as incompetent and without ability to comprehend what has been done by U. S. in world food relief.
SNYDER
Congress cut back 800 million in tax refunds yesterday then added 1,200,000.
