Foreign ministers planned on finishing conference at Paris today - but it is now planned to have another meeting on next Monday.

McCloy to take over govt of Germany on July 1st. U. K., France and U. S. have reached agreement on McCloy’s authority.

Palestine situation is touchy. Israeli may make another military move against the Arabs.

JOHNSON

Says Webb suggested consolidation of attaches in foreign countries - install a national defense attache in lieu of Army, Navy and Air. Agrees this is sound.

DONALDSON

Says he now believes Congress will authorize some increases in postal rates. He had not hoped for any.

CHAPMAN

There is some sign of encouragement in the strike in Hawaii. The Governor has appointed Fact Finding Board. The Navy has been very cooperative in providing critical food transportation.

ATTY GEN

Thinks Bridges case will have an effect on Hawaii strike. Dept says they have the evidence on Bridges this time.

SAWYER

Asked about re-organization plans.

7 plans will go up on Monday - right after the bill is signed.
