There will be over 900 retirements this year of postmasters for age.

260 million bushels of storage now under contract for construction. We are also taking an additional temporary storage space e. g. 3 Liberty ships for wheat in Hudson River. We will fill all commitments last year.
TOBIN
Nothing but suggested Sawyer's Employment Survey figures are of interest.
SAWYER
Only bad news is the falling off of personal incomes. There is however a trend - we hope it will last.
THE PRESIDENT
We have a bad situation in Missouri-Pacific strike set for 3 PM today. We can only sit and wait it out. The idea of a general RR strike has been abandoned. The new technique is to strike individual roads.
HARRIMAN
Progress is being made in Europe. Wheat crop is good. Root crops are bad in Turkey they have a 50% crop.
