Is worried about 10% appropriation cut in Executive depts.
THE PRESIDENT
Will pay no attention to this cut as it is illegal and will not be administered. Asked Snyder and Justice to give him the legal background for ignoring the Congressional directive.

Pointed out technique of Soviets to divide the U. S. internally.
SYMINGTON
The controls bill is out of control in Congress. Hopes a good bill can be worked out in conference.
JOHNSON
No substantial change today in Korea.
