British are now fumbling around with proposal Harriman succeeded in getting from Iran. Harriman's work has been outstanding in Iran negotiations on the oil crisis.

Hearings on tax bill will be finished next week. The following week will be devoted to Executive Committee sessions.

Thinks will have military appropriation bill thru House by end of next week.

Thinks we will take a licking on the tidelands bill.
