Description

World War I United States Marines (Fifth) in railroad cars on their way to cantonment after disembarkation at a French port are shown waving to the photographer. The cars accommodate 40 to 50 men or 8 to 10 horses. Donor: Lillian R. Craig, Scotland County Public Library, Memphis, Missouri.
