Edith Wilson, wife of World War I President, Woodrow Wilson, sits on a bench and converses with President Harry S. Truman during a White House lawn party for sick and disabled members of the Armed Forces. Mrs. Wilson originated the annual affair after World War I. (See also 92-364.)
