Description
Exterior, mountainous view which includes a couple of people and a car described by Charles Thayer as one of the cars stuck in the deep sand at Wadi Feran as the group was headed east. Photograph taken as part of a trip Charles Thayer and his wife Cynthia took to Mt. Sinai and St. Catherine's Monastery in March 1961. Photos intended for possible magazine article. Original negatives are in the Harry S. Truman Library collection.
