Description
This is a commercial photograph of what is claimed to be the mountain where Jesus was tempted by the devil. This site is in the Judean Desert. E. Clifton Daniel, Jr. wrote on the back of the photograph: "Christ told the Devil here, 'Get thee behind me, Satan.' Across the Dead Sea from here Moses stood to see the Promised Land." Part of a group of photographs originally sent by E. Clifton Daniel, Jr. to his mother.
