Description

Select officers of the 129th Field Artillery, 35th Division, pose for a photograph on board the USS Zeppelin. Written on the bottom of the photograph are two names: Colonel [Emery] Smith and Lt. Colonel [Marvin] Gates with arrows pointing to the two men. The man second from the left in the second row is Captain Ted Marks. The rest of the men are unidentified.
