Description
In Anchorage, Alaska, these are three surplus military buildings converted into 26 apartment units of two rooms each. Two-thirds of the apartments are occupied by military personnel, mostly captains, majors, and lieutenant colonels. The rent is $125.00 per month plus utilities. To secure one of these apartments it is necessary to pay a $750.00 guarantee.
