Private First Class William Gleason (left) of Somerville, Massachusetts, Military Policeman on duty at the gate entrance to the "Little White House," residence of President Truman during the Potsdam Conference, checks the passes of Corporal Mary W. Whiteus, Conesville, Ohio and Corporal Charlotte Szostek, Gary, Indiana, as they leave the area. They operate the telephone switchboard during the day shift. From Potsdam album, 1945
