President Harry S. Truman (center) talks to Colonel L. Curtis Tiernan (right center) of Kansas City, Missouri, Chaplain of the U.S. Forces European Theater of Operations, after church services in the conference area in Berlin, Germany. The President is attending the Potsdam Conference and is reunited with his chaplain from World War I. Behind President Truman on the left is Major General Harry Vaughan. On the right is Fred Canfil.
