Washington, D. C. Former President Harry S. Truman receives a leather bound book containing letters of thanks from 55 nations for his initiation of the Point Four program at a banquet of the Sixth National Conference on Economic and Social Development here tonight at which Truman was speaker. Eric Johnston, left, chairman of the Committee for International Economic Growth, made the presentation. In center, rear, is Minnesota Governor Orville Freeman, chairman of the banquet.
