Description
President Harry S. Truman's address, Pottsville, PA. The President spoke at 8:30 p.m. at the Pottsville Stadium. His opening words referred to James V. Ryan, Democratic county chairman and chairman of the meeting. Later he referred to Judge Guy K. Bard, Democratic candidate for Senator, Peter Krehel, Democratic candidate for Representative, and former Senator Francis J. Myers, Pennsylvania of Pennsylvania, Simon S. Kuznets, professor of economic statistics at the University of Pennsylvania, and Senator Homer E. Capehart of Indiana.
