Students will examine primary and secondary source material to draw connections while working individually, cooperatively with a partner, and during whole-group discussion.

This lessons aims to present an event in history through the eyes of Wilfred Owen to the students, so they can understand the pain, struggle, and consequences of war. Students will then also see how literature can portray history.

Students will be tasked with analyzing correspondence to President Hoover during the Great Depression.

Students will be tasked with researching, analyzing, and creating a paper over the influence of a First Lady of the United States.

The goal of this lesson is for students to take a look into past presidential propaganda and determine its similarities and differences.
