Secretary of State Dean Acheson bids farewell to President Harry S. Truman, Mrs. Bess Truman, and Margaret Truman as the first family left Washington this morning for a vacation in Florida. Margaret, who completed her tour with a concert at Constitution Hall last night, carries a new camera for the vacation. They are at an airport.

Among the many government officials attending the funeral service for former Secretary of State Edward R. Stettinius at St. James Protestant Episcopal Church, was Secretary of State Dean Acheson. Mr. Stettinius died October 28 at the age of 49.

Secretary of State Dean Acheson is the second speaker to address the morning session of the United Nations General Assembly at Flushing, New York.
