Description

Canadian Ambassador Hume Wrong signs the Canadian Water Diversion Treaty at Washington. Looking on are Secretary of State Dean Acheson (left) and Senator Herbert Lehman (D-NY). The Treaty is designed to encourage greater power development from the Niagara River and increase the scenic beauties of Niagara Falls.
