Crew members of the USS Manchester help bring injured from the USS Bass aboard. The USS Bass was hit by enemy fire from Wonsan shore batteries in Wonsan Harbor, Korea. All are unidentified.

The destroyer, USS Bass, was hit by Wonsan shore batteries in Wonsan Harbor, Korea. There were ten causalities. Those that were seriously injured were transferred to USS Manchester for treatment.
