Nimitz Signs the Japanese Surrender Document Aboard the U.S.S. Missouri

The Japanese surrender aboard the U.S.S. Missouri. Chester W. Nimitz, Fleet Admiral, U.S. Navy, is seated at a desk signing the document as U.S. representative.
