Operation Big Switch and Korean Prison Interrogations

The CD is labeled "Korean War Interrogations 1952-1953." Track one is a Chinese news bulletin. Track two is a Chinese news bulletin. Track three is partially in English, explaining that the recording was made in the Yondong Tho (?) Prison just after the Korean War, during Operation Big Switch. The prison was separated into two sides, with about 2000 prisoners on each side. The recording that follows is Korean singing and other sounds from the North Korean prisoners.

Stalag IV

Stalag IV, Reichenbach, Germany, a prisoner of war camp that held 42 Americans from January 11, 1945 to April 17, 1945. The prisoners worked for a Nazi Architect, Paul Phabe, making cement cinder blocks for homes for refugees.
