Rebuilding bridge during Korean War
A platoon of B Company, 65th Combat Engineers rebuild a bridge blown up during withdrawal last December of United Nations Army from Suwon, Korea.
South Korean Troops of the 1st Construction Battalion, 2nd Corps, unload steel to be used in rebuilding the Taedong River Bridge, near Pyongyang. The bridge was destroyed by retreating North Korean Forces during heavy fighting in that area.
United States troops cut through field on way to the Nakdong River, during offensive launched against the North Korean energy troops in that area.
