Remains of Water Wagon

Remains of one of our water wagons. The road just above was being shelled and this is part of what happened. Needless to say there was not much water brought back. From an album of Lorain H. Cunningham, who served in the 129th Field Artillery during World War I and was a friend of Harry S. Truman.

Argonne Offensive

We traveled over this road on our way to Charpentry during the Argonne offensive. From an album of Lorain H. Cunningham, who served in the 129th Field Artillery during World War I and was a friend of Harry S. Truman.
