Map of Allied Movement Northwest of Paris

A French map titled "Carte Routiere pour Automobilistes & Cyclistes-Environs de Paris, Section Nord-Ouest." The map, numbered 4 in a series, shows transportation routes in the area northwest of Paris. Annotations, in red ink, indicate allied movement from Le Havre through Rouen, Louviers, and Evreux to Breteuil. Handwriting on the back reads: "J C Pride, No-4, La Havre." Donated by Joseph C. Pride.

Map of the Australian 5th Division During the German Spring Offensive

A map numbered 17 in a series and titled "Amiens." The map is annotated, in red pencil and black ink, to show the positions, headquarters, and movement of the 5th Division of the Australian Imperial Force during the German Spring Offensive. There is a drawn line indicating troop movement from Montonvillers through Poulainville, Bussy-les-Daours, Daours, la Neuville, and Corbie to Sailly-le-Sec. A second line from Domart sur la Luce through Villers-Bretonneux, Hamel, Sailly-Laurette, and Morlancourt indicates either troop movement or the front line.

A grid map, numbered 62D in a series, that is annotated to show the positions, headquarters, and movement of the 5th Division of the Australian Imperial Force. Areas highlighted in red pencil are Bussy les-Daours, la Neuville, Corbie, and Sailly-le-Sec. A light red line is drawn from Villers-Bretonneux to Morlancourt. Handwriting on the back reads: "Sailly-le-Sec, Bussy-les-Daours, Sailly-Laurette, Aubigny, Corbie." The back also includes a French to English glossary and an index to adjoining maps in the series. An American map titled "Rand McNally War Map of the French Front, Southern Section." The map of France, Germany, and Switzerland shows the farthest advance of the German army in 1914 and the battle line as of September 1917. Annotations, in red ink, show the positions of the 69th Infantry Brigade and the 138th Infantry headquarters, as well as, troop movement from Docelles through Bussang. Many other areas in France and Germany are also circled, including markings south of Nancy.

The map, numbered 8 in a series, shows transportation routes in the area southwest of Paris. Annotations, in red ink, indicate allied movement from Breteuil through Senonches, Chartres, and Draveil across the Seine River. Handwriting on the back reads: "Joseph Pride, #8, Blois, Paris." Donated by Joseph C. Pride.
