This is number 7 of a series of tapes (SR99-29 to SR99-43) made at the Harry S. Truman Library in preparation for the book "Mr. Citizen." William Hillman and David Noyes interview former President Harry S. Truman on various topics. Mr. Truman talks about monetary control by the government and gives his opinion on Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Republican Party. The men have a long conversation about Herbert Hoover. They finish by discussing the present and future leaders of the country and Jawaharlal Nehru.
