Description

President Harry S. Truman attends a formal presentation of equestrian statues, "The Art of War" and "The Art of Peace," by Italian Prime Minister Alcide de Gasperi to the Government of the United States at Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C. At podium is Prime Minister de Gasperi, behind is President Harry S. Truman. Left of podium is Secretary of State Dean Acheson. All others are unidentified.
