Description
Secretary of State Dean Acheson takes the floor of the United Nations General Assembly at its first session. After a blistering attack had been launched on him by Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Vishinsky, on China policy, Mr. Acheson suggested proposals to seat a representative of the Communist Chinese regime be considered later in the session.
