Description

President Harry S. Truman's 1949 Cabinet seated around the table in the Cabinet Room of the White House. Clockwise, left to right: Secretary of the Interior Julius Krug, Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer, Vice President Alben Barkley, Secretary of Labor Maurice Tobin, Secretary of Agriculture Charles Brannan, Postmaster General Jesse Donaldson, Secretary of Defense James Forrestal, Secretary of State Dean Acheson, President Truman, Secretary of the Treasury John Snyder, and Attorney General Tom Clark. This is same photo as 64-3-14, but 64-3-14 is autographed. Original is oversized 11 X 14 studio portrait.
