Description

Supreme Commander MacArthur seals Japanese defeat as Generals Jonathan Wainwright and Percival of Singapore stand by. In center of Officers in background is Admiral William "Bull" Halsey. On the right Generals George C. Spaatz and Kenney of the Air Forces. Sixth from the right, front row, is Capt. John D. Gingrich. The signing took place aboard the battleship Missouri. This includes a duplicate photo and a negative.
