Truman and Winston Churchill Receive Honorary Degrees from Westminster College

President Truman Receives Honorary Degree from Westminster College

President Harry S. Truman receives an honorary degree from Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, which was presented by Dr. Franc McCluer (right), President of the College. President Truman made the trip to Fulton with Britain's former Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, who also received an honorary degree and who gave his famous "Iron Curtain" speech the same day.
