Description

Home movies shot by Lieutenant Daniel Karp during his service in the Air Force in the Korean War. Karp was mainly stationed in Japan. This film shows aircraft assisting the Korean War effort. It starts with a sign indicating the headquarters for the 403rd and the 314th Troop Carrier Groups. Footage shows activities from the tarmac, a variety of military planes and helicopters landing and taking off, as well as trucks moving around to supply them. A variety of pilots and personnel. It ends showing a plane being repaired.
