Description
“NAVY MARINE CORPS NEWS, PROGRAM 831" July 25, 1998, program covering the commissioning ceremony for the U. S. S. Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier. This program shows brief segments of the ceremony, including a couple of portions of President Bill Clinton's speech. There are also segments on the building of airplanes that are used aboard the ship (the Superhornet airplane). how aircraft carriers are built, and what its like to serve aboard an aircraft carrier. Segments of interviews with Truman Library Supervisory Archivist Ray Geselbracht and Sue Gentry are included. VHS videotape.
SD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are available for $20, and HD-quality copies of already digitized motion pictures are $50. Copies of motion pictures not already digitized will incur additional costs.
