Description
Prisoners in the "hospital" cribs at Buchenwald concentration camp. This photo is one of a group of photographs taken shortly after the liberation of the infamous camp near Weimar, Germany. The photographs were taken by a rehabilitation officer of the U.S. Army Chief Surgeon's office when he arrived at the camp three days after Weimar was taken by the U.S. Third Army. From: album entitled "Nazi War Atrocities."
