Description
Lifeless eyes stare from the broken, starved body of a slave found by American 3rd Armored Division, First Army, when it captured a German slave labor camp near Nordhausen. Hundreds of emaciated bodies covered barracks where Russians, Polish, French, Belgian and Italian captives lived with their dead. From: album entitled "Nazi War Atrocities."
