Description
Schwarzenfeld, Germany. German civilians exhuming bodies of Polish Jews shot by S. S. troops during a forced march away from advancing American forces. They were shot just days before the 26th Infantry Division, 3rd U S Army took the town. The American officers ordered the civilians to exhume and individually bury the victims.
